Golden Eagle Log Homes Introduces Several New Stock Floor Plans

Golden Eagle Log Homes has been monitoring the trends in log home design over the years. We also have been compiling the suggestions and contemporary needs of our clients. We are now introducing seven new stock floor plans to not only meet the needs of our clients, but to also introduce some rarely seen design elements that take these new home designs to a new level of practicality and elegance.
Each of the new floor plans are available in an All Log Design as well as in our new Hybrid Timber Frame Designs.
What is a Hybrid Timber Frame Home?
If you’re looking for an extremely flexible platform to build upon with your own creative ideas, Consider a Golden Eagle Log Homes Hybrid Timber Frame Home. You can combine logs with timber frame, stone, stucco, cedar, or cement shakes with siding accents. Think of a Hybrid as a blank canvas. Both the interior and exterior of the home can be designed to your taste. This opens up nearly endless possibilities in regards to your home’s appearance. If you don’t consider yourself the creative type, we have an expert staff to help you along the way.

This plan was created in 2007, not 1967. Its open concept keeps the family connected. Speaking of connected, what’s a charging room? It is a designated spot to drop and charge all those cell phones, ipods, blackberrys and a place to keep your keys and mail. And how about the laundry room off the kitchen? Talk about multi-tasking. With Golden Eagle’s Hybrid Design we can help you create your perfect home, inside and out. We have many choices: logs, stucco, stone, timber frame, bark shingles, vertical and horizontal cement and wood siding.
Double Eagle Deluxe Grande -Click for Details
The ‘Grande’ stands for 10’ tall 1st floor side walls. The hybrid version comes with stone, stone wrapped posts, stucco and sidewall wood shakes. Transom windows are also included. A western roof system is included with the Hybrid version making the ever popular Double Eagle Deluxe plan even more custom. Golden Eagle Log Home’s most popular design just got “Grande”.

The Gatlinburg Log Home Plan has a lot of great places to sit down and relax. For example: The screen porch, loft, loft balcony and the large soaking tub. The master suite in the loft has two walk-in closets and a very nice bathroom, and the downstairs has two good sized bedrooms and bathrooms along with a drop zone, charging room area.

“The Lakehouse” is another Golden Eagle Log Homes project home, like the 2003-2004 Double Eagle Showcase and the 2005-2006 Country’s Best Showcase Homes. But… With an internet twist.
Follow the construction of this log home on The Log Home Network, “Dirt to Done” website and watch for feature articles in Country’s Best Log Home Magazine in Spring of 2008. This home features two master suites, and a large kitchen/dining room and great room are made for entertaining. The laundry room area is also well designed. The basement extending under a 3 stall garage means the lower level has over 3,000 sq ft more to finish off to your taste.

This very popular log home plan we have decided to make a stock plan for 2008. Big bedrooms and bathrooms make this a very livable log home. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with even more room to grow in the walkout basement. Its tall prow wall with loads of glass makes for a beautiful naturally-lit great room and loft.

This home’s two fireplaces leaves you asking, which one do we sit by tonight? The one outside or the one in the great room? An Exterior fireplace, 1st floor laundry room with extra room, octagonal dining room, large rooms and lots of glass puts this new 2008 log ranch home on the leading edge of design.

Stunning and sensible. Very ,very impressive kitchen and master bathroom. Lots of glass and attention to design detail creates interest inside and out. This Yellowstone Log Plan is slightly different from the Hybrid version. An unbelievable octagonal kitchen is a real head turner, and so is the large master bathroom.
